The time has come for innovation to conduct a total review of the basic construction process.   new buildings need a new focus on practical energy efficiency of secure and solid structures! The energy departments' LEED program is effective, but NOT practical, certainly NOT cost effective; with some projects having a 70 year Return On Investment. Ouch! 

Ironically, many innovations are not new, just simply not being utilized.

This site challenges a majority of the construction industry that continues to hold to inefficient, antiquated practices. Even now the industry builds low efficiency buildings, adding high efficiency equipment to make up for it. There is a better way! 

Case-in-point: 
The industry designs unusable attic space WITHIN the shell of a building;  where summer temperatures can reach 160 degrees!
Plus, some builders put the A/C unit up there to make it sent us cold air!   Why? What are we thinking?  Wasting energy by design is what they’re doing! HBS says: NO MORE HOT ATTICS!
